About the project
For this branding project, the client, an auto shop located in the bustling heart of Richmond, approached me with the goal of creating a strong, cohesive brand identity for Form and Function Autoworks. The branding process kicked off with the development of a logo that not only visually represents the shop’s name but also captures its core values of precision and efficiency. The goal was to blend “form” and “function” into the design, resulting in a clean and modern aesthetic that reflects the shop’s attention to detail and quality service.
In addition to the logo, I crafted a comprehensive colour palette and typography that echo the brand’s focus on both practicality and style, ensuring that every visual element communicates reliability and professionalism. The project extended beyond just visuals, my work also included designing uniforms, business cards, invoices, and branded documents like envelopes and letterheads. These items needed to maintain consistency, reinforcing the shop’s identity at every customer touchpoint.
To ensure that the brand’s identity was documented in a way that can be presented to clients and used in future marketing, I compiled all of the elements into a brand book. This guide outlines the usage of the logo, color schemes, typography, and brand messaging, ensuring the client has a clear, cohesive brand that resonates with their audience and builds trust. The final product is a unified, professional identity that sets Form and Function Autoworks apart in their market.
